UT3 and Gamespy, what a load of rubbish . .

I've just installed UT3, and when I played the demo I registered an account. I just tried registering a new account to my old email address and it said I've already registered. Great, I thought . . so I get my password reset and it's refusing to log in.

Anyone encountered any similar problems?

I couldn't use the '@' sign during the demo, not tried in retail.

This is getting on my nerves now. When I restart a game, I have re-enter CD-Key, login again, change res, set settings. Am I doing something wrong here?

Create a shortcut and add "-nohomedir" at the end of the target line, something like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Unreal Tournament 3\Binaries\UT3.exe" -nohomedir

That makes the settings you change save to your .ini files in your HD rather than your My Docs, and should solve your problem.
