Yea, well, I haven't played online for a while, and you do sometimes come across someone who's internet connection is cack, but I did wonder! There were a couple of real folk (they killed me)... had to laugh!
Done a bit of CPU load logging via Core Temp. With the logging interval at 1 second, none of my cores exceed peaks of 95%, Core 0 averages 36%, Core 1 61%, Core 2 64% and Core 3 64%. This is with 2 x AA set to take the weight of the GFX at bit, and stuttering still happens.
Is Deck just a poorly coded level as suggested? Also, are my CPU loads as expected? I'm surprised a CPU that has effectively the same performance as what would have cost the best part of a grand when UT3 was launched is peaking at 95%!
Any thoughts?
