UT3 probs

hey, im having a weird issue with my UT3

im trying to use a usb headset to play with, however when ingame i cant hear anything, yet when i play the campaign i can hear all the cut scenes perfectly, this may be the wrong place, but it also happens in windows, i can hear all the sound effects for doing wrong stuff (that i did on purpose) but i cant hear music!!

help would be much appreciated.

Which version of Windows have you got ?
Do you have standard speakers plugged in, also ?

hey, ive got Xp Sp2, and yes i have standard speakers also. however i changed the sound output on the sound and audio devices to headsets

It seems strange that you're hearing the music for the cutscenes only, so it could be a bug in the game, or incorrect sound settings in UT3, what options are available in the UT3 sound settings ?
Has the headset got the same number of outputs as your speakers? 2.1, 5.1, 7.1 etc etc ?

Have you patched ut3? Don't think I've seen it in the 1.1 changelog but you never know

ah tis working now guys, i think the problem was that i needed to restart for the game to recognise the headsets.
