UT3 startup issue

Ok just installed UT3 onto my rig in sig.

Ive installed the game, the 1.1 patch and the phyx mod pack. Now when i launch the game the splash screen comes on the desktop and cpu usage shoots to 100% and theres lots of HDD activity but then the HDD activity stops and cpu usage drops back down, but the game dosent launch, no error message or anything but the splash screen remains there until i end it with CTRL-ALT-DEL

Ive got the latest drivers for my stuff, any ideas?

Doh, google didnt bring up 1.3 i just searched for UT3 patch

Scrap that just bin the game as there is hardly any "Community" lol

Yes, the game sucks, I am waiting for this mod www.runestorm.com to come out for it to really start playing. If I could find a excessive server that would be fun.

Well i reinstalled the game, put the patch on, reinstalled direct X and it still wont run :mad:

Video Drivers up to date? that solved a lot of problems with me.
