UT3 tomorrow...anyone purchasing?

I loved the Unreal and Unreal Tournament series on PC, so I will pick this up and see how it's translated onto console.

Yea Ive herd a lot about this one. They say it will sell much better than previous versions, Still loved the Origional Unreal tournament best out of them all, but I guess I have to move with the times, lol.

never got round to playing the pc vers so i cant make comparisons but i have played the ps3 version and the 360 vers seems much better
online is a blast

I had the chance of pre-ordering it for £24.99, but never bothered in the end as the other formats got a bit of a slating. It's in my rental queue, so i'll play it eventually

Got this in the post today for just £25 had a couple games online and have had no lag at all, 6v6 team deathmatch and a deathmatch with i think 16 people

360 version supports split-screen multiplayer, and theyre a few exclusive maps and characters that arent on the PS3 version. But due to the strictness of Live it doesn't support mods! So no user-created content.

UT3 wasn't designed for consoles and although it's probably a good shooter I don't think it can compare to Halo 3 or COD4 online.

It's based on the principle of having quick reactions and it's so quick. I know it has been slowed down slightly for console but even then I don't think it suits a controller.

Even as an absolutely huge Unreal and UT fan, UT3 falls shy of the mark compared to what previous UT games have offered.

I've found myself playing UT2004 more than UT3 to be honest.

I'm not saying UT3 is a poor game, but I don't think it's lived up to what I expected... although I did expect an awful lot

ive never liked unreal tournament that much, unreal championship my word, i loved it. to bad they stopped bringing them out (i think)
