Is it worth playing UT3 again after this so called 'massive/amazing' patch came out? I played it for a few hours then got bord of its slow/too large map game play.


Its a big download on steam so . . . .

i would call it FAR from slow.

i think it might come with the titan pack which is march 5th i may be wrong though...

If you think it is too slow open up the command prompt (key near 'tab') and type in
'Slomo' then a speed you want.
'Slomo 1' is normal.

'Slomo 1.5' is 50% faster than normal. Which is quite mentally fast! etc.

Naturally you can't do this on multiplayer.

I personally play at 'slomo 0.8' -- and find it incredulous you think the game is too slow on 'slomo 1'! But -- now you can set it to exactly what you like!

I can only assume you have been running around the large maps designed for vehicles on foot. Which would be why you could assume it is slow.
Get and play some DM or CTF and you'll soon be saying it isn't slow.

Cool thanks. UT3 didn't hold my interest for very long - in fact I recently re-installed UT4K and realized how much more I prefer it to UT3. I'll certainly give UT3 another try with the patch/Titan pack though!

wow i got rid of this a month or so ago

but was in the game shop and seen it for £3.99
think i might pop back in tommorrow morning pick it up
