UT99 and Vista 64

Thought I'd dig this up from the cupboard and give it a bash. Anyhow everytime I connect to a server after about 30secs the games crashes well just freezes up and I have to exit the game using task manager.

Definitely not my hardware as everything else runs fine.

I've tried various suggestions that I've found by googling the problem but none seem to have worked.

Anyone else had this problem and solved it?

Have you disabled one of your core's if your using a dualcore CPU?

Could give that a try.

Yeah tried one, then the other. Still no joy.....shame really would'nt have minded a bit of retro fun. Still loadsa people playing by the looks how many peeps are on the servers.

I have experienced problems with UTSecure and Vista64, browse for a game without any cheat protection and see if you can join. iirc I could play on a few servers, but as soon as I tried some of the popular ones (with UTSecure) it crashed after a bit.
