Utility Fees

Hi,

Im planning on moving into my own flat after the summer after 3 years in student accomodation. I was wondering if someone could give me a rough estimate of how much my utility bills (electricity, water and heat) will be for a 1 bedroom fairly small flat.

I'll probably wash my clothes every week take a shower every other day (im usually away during the summer time) i like to keep my pc on 24/7 however i turn off all the lights im not using etc. heating i dont tend to keep it on 24/7 right now im in a fairly small room with a small electrical heater which wasnt on too much because a-) the pc warms this room up quite a bit and b-) i dont like my room to be boiling hot constantly...i.e. all the usual stuff.

im still a student however...arent students exempt from council tax?

£30 a month sounds fine for gas/water/electricity my 3 month phone bill is around £60 and internet another £20 per month..

so roughly im looking at around £70 in utility fees per month...which isnt too bad i suppose..

yep i included all those in the £70

£30 (heat electricy gas) + ~ £20 bt + £20 ukonline = £70

ive already got a bt phone line + own internet so i didnt ask how much those were gonna cost me as i already knew..
