Utility for finding available DNS servers on a LAN?

Does anyone know if theres a utility around that will allow me to scan a LAN for DNS servers? Have no idea if such a thing exists, but if it does it will save me some time.

surely if your connected to the lan, it will return the dns server in the ipconfig /all information. ?

Not a DHCP LAN, is all static.

AFAIK the only way would be to knock together a script to go through every IP in the subnet and fire a DNS request at it, but it doesn't guarantee that every IP that doesn't answer isn't running a DNS server.

Portscn the network on port 53

Angry IP Scanner would do the trick.
