I have a Sandisk SD card which is faulty in that it keeps asking to be reformatted, so I have opened a return for it, however I want to erase the data that was on the card. Does anybody know of a good utility to do that?

Thanks but that looks like a formatting utility rather than secure erasure.

Recuva has a secure wipe option - and you can use to to attempt recovery before & after to verify it's gone.

Recuva or CCleaner, both are free, both have secure wipe / erase

Not surprising, given they're made by the same developer :p
