utorrent help req

Practically every morning after running utorrent, my network connection has has died during the night. no up/down in utorrent, dmt tool has disconnected and will not reconnect and my internet connection has been lost. The only way i can solve this is by rebooting my pc.

Anyone know what utorrent settings i need to use to prevent this from happening. I only have a handul of torrents at a time. sometimes only two or three but it still happens.

I have a speedtouch 585v6i. There is no problem with my snr during the night (the slider in dmt is about half way giving me otherwise a completely stable connection. Also my other pc continues to run fine when this happens and the problem never occurs when not using utorrent.

Any help appreciated.

try decreasing the global number of connections down to say 150 or 200 and see if that helps

utorrent has been crashing fairly regularly for me recently too, but not taking out my router connection though

It does this during the day as well. Anyway, i've lowered global connections from 200 to 150 and will see how it goes.
