Im after an UWA lens for my landscape photography and possibly some portrait work. I've done all my work so for on the kit lens and the nifty fifty but i seem to have outgrown them.

I have been looking at L glass, but i cant really justify the costs of the widest angle ones.

Other options seem to be the sigma 10-20 or the tamron 16-26?

Anyone any specific views or opinions?

I use a Canon 350d, and my budget is ideally £300 ish although i could stretch to 5.

I had the Sigma 10-20 on a Canon 40D...

Loved that lens :)

Tokina 11-16 f2.8 if the short zoom range doesn't worry you.

Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 if being 'slow' isn't an issue, which for landscapes it normally won't be.

Is that your loin cloth in the front of the boat phate?!

I have the sigma 10-20. It's a pretty nice lens and worked fine up to a point, now it's got sharpness issues. Constantly fuzzy pictures. Be careful if you're buying second hand as I'm not totally convinced by sigmas QC.
