Just tried to install the UXTheme Patch on my reformatted laptop and it says there are Windows NT Setup files on C: and that it will not continue

Any ideas My laptop has XP and i have just updated it to SP2

im pretty sure before it had been formatted i had UXTheme on it though

this error was coming up before SP2 as well

seems a lot of messing around just make it look pretty :p

am i going to have to uninstall SP2 then or will that nLite automatically just integrate everything?

dont have xp disk for laptop, its a preinstalled one

tbh that really does seem to much messing about, i know ive done it before thats the only thing that is bugging me

no worries, thanks anyway mate but ill just stick with xp theme for the time being :)

i just renamed the folder that it says it could not patch because of, and it worked first time...stupid

What folder did you rename ? Mine sais i386 is the folder that i need to rename but it wont let me :(

How else can i use custom them

yeah thats the folder it told me about, i just renamed it soemthing like i386a or soemthing, installed the patch and then changed the name of the folder back

could always try just moving the folder to desktop or soemthing then moving it back again?
