V-droop or v-drop causing BSOD?

running a E6850 @ 3.9 with 1.520 voltage at idle!then when running orthos cpu test the voltage reading drops to 1.480 at 100% load in cpu-z. then bsod happens.. is this down to v droop or v drop.
 
yes but as i recently found, you should try and keep between 1.5v-1.55v - you dont want as much as i had pumping through!:eek:
 
nothing bad happened but i got to 3.8ghz which required an insane amount of volts, 1.63v or something, if i no one said i guess it might of shortened the cpu life significantly or something. Theres also more chance of spikes in the current which could foo-bar the cpu i guess :(
