Camped last year it was really good.

I doubt any of the girls would want to see any of that lot.

A strong rumour from the tents at end of last year was The Killers headlining, and if this is true that would be worth me going I guess.

Other than that, there must be more dance/'pop' acts planning on being there.

We'll see. Thanks for the info though! ;)

It probably would me as well. I saw them at Reading last year, and while they weren't the best live band I'd seen, the atmosphere in the crowd was fantastic. Everyone knew every word to every song. Great stuff.

I'm still 50/50 between going back to Reading or trying V this year. So far neither rumoured lineup has swung me.

Totally missed them live last year :(

Think they were at the Brighton Centre too - gutted!

You were there last year? I never knew that :)

They topped a great afternoon/evening at the main stage (The Coral/Queens of the Stone Age/The Killers). Decided to miss the Pixies and headed to the radio 1 tent for Kasabian to end the day... wish I didn't tbh.

No mate... I mean I TOTALLY missed them... as in never saw them last year - anywhere... nada... zilch... cuput. :(

Though, if I had been at Reading and missed them, THEN I would have been gutted!

From BBC News website:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/4755950.stm

Morrissey and Radiohead have been announced as the headline acts for this summer's V Festival.
Bloc Party, Keane, The Magic Numbers and honorary Brit Award winner Paul Weller are also on the bill for the event, taking place on August 19-20

Radiohead will headline the main stage at Hylands Park on Saturday, with Morrissey playing the event in Staffordshire.

The two acts will swap venues on Sunday.

Further acts on the line-up include Faithless, Kasabian, Editors, Fatboy Slim and The Ordinary Boys.

I would go to Glasto regardless of line up because Glasto is more than just music, where other festivals is mostly about the music. There is so much more to do at Glasto than watch bands, went to Reading, and apart from going to see bands and sitting around the tent drinking/the movies, there isn't much to do.

Saying that, the rumour line up isn't half bad, Radiohead, The Who, Massive Attack. That's actually quite decent.
