V+hd recordings?

Recordings seem to be set to go past the program time, how do I stop this happening? When one program Is after the other you get like 5mins of the program on the first recording, then the rest on the second recording.

Mine does that as well, but it didn't use to. I think a software update borked it. I don't think that it is programmed like that. Pretty annoying because it can prevent you from taping shows that follow each other.

you need it because BBC always run over. you end up missing loads of the ends of programs otherwise. even with 10 mins it often runs over that!

there is a place on V+ where you can adjust the times manually.

I can confirm this, I think it's somewhere in the series record menu iirc?

Anyone I have mine set to ten mins as I was fed up of it clipping bits. If you set zero margin you'll be missing the start and end left right and centre.

Cheers, found it
V+, v+extra, extend recording. Changed it to 30seconds before and after. Down from 2 before and 5 after. Will see how it goes and try and fine tune it.

be careful! you will miss plenty of BBC stuff. god knows why they manage to run over all the time.

why cant they just record the program and not just the times. cant the system send out signals to start/end. didnt we have this with years ago (tvplus was it called? on vhs)
