V TV Series (2009)

i bought the original mini series on itunes it still looks great and much better now. Clear distinctions between the nazis and visitors in that story. How the powers capitulated for power and money etc. In the new version it's a bit more blurred.
 
Great to see Jane back, I much prefer the characters in the original really. Donovan from the original would kick ten bells of snot out of wimpy FBI mum and Michael ironsides mercenary from the original would slaughter the poncy Australian (?) Mercenary in the new one. :)
 
Just finished watching the last couple of episodes of series 1 on DVD last night - awesome! Can't wait for series 2!! :D Lisa is hawt :p
 
Thought this was decent enough tbh, although it's not like much happened in the first season. Moreena Baccarin seems to be well suited for the role of cold and calculating alien leaders, first Adria in Stargate SG1, now Anna in V

Will be interesting to see what happens in season 2.
 
I watched 1st six episodes of season 1, didnt really catch my attention tbh so didnt really bother with rest of series.

If you haven't already seen it, tho i assume you probably have if you like sci-fi series, then Battlestar Galactica is much better!
 
damn cant wait too after see that trailer, i hope they dont kill it like smallville, dispite smallville is in season 10 right now... or should i say worst like knight riders season 1 and that was all they did
 
Latest gossip now is that Marc Singer (Donovan in original V) will be appearing in the new V but as a new character. I think there's only 2 episodes left of season 2 for them to film so he must be near the end if this all works out to be true.
 
Morena Baccarin has promised that viewers will get some answers in the second season of V.

The actress, who plays Anna, told the New York Post that the new episodes have a much quicker pace.

"We really hit our stride in the last few episodes and while season two picks up right where we left off - we're going 150 miles an hour faster now," she said.

Baccarin added that fans will start to learn more about the Visitors.

"By episode six, there is a ton revealed about who the V are, what we want, what their plan is and why Tyler is important to it," she said. "Every episode has a big reveal. Fans are going to be really happy."

Baccarin also dropped some hints about what viewers should expect from the season, saying: "Everyone's double-crossing everyone. You'll never know who to trust. And that makes this year a whole lot of fun."

Against my better judgement i watched that 15 minutes.

Ohh man, talk about hitting the ground running. I was totaly sold on the back of the end of the first series, looks like all the talk about it continuing the same pace ain't no lie:)
