Hi,
Just started to rip my V1000 to bits to fit my nice shiney new (and smaller) Corsair HX620 PSU - looking to add more HDD's and the Tagan was too big to allow the drive cage to remain.
Fiddled the drive cage in (not screwed down, can't see where to fix it in...) and dropped the PSU in. So far so good. ATX power and 4 pin power plugs onto the motherboard - doing well.
Then I realise the problem. The PSU being Modular needs further cables plugged in. This simply will not happen with the additional drive cage in place. The space available is around 0.5cm and the plugs are just a shade bigger :/
Any ideas on how to deal with this? I'm thinking it will be a job of getting a new case where the hard drives and the PSU do not sit by each other.
Any solutions welcome.
