Ok since getting this case it seems to, like to vibrate. a lot.

Any tips to dampen it? its quite annoying as its starts slow then goes up to a quite annoying racket before i kick it, then the cycle starts all over.

Seems to be the hdd cage. Seeing as they are held in place via the runners theres no way to dampen this? I'm starting to regret buying it :/

Blutack/ bits of paper inbetween the sides & the case itself helps matters, but I've never really found a way to dampen this full-stop :(

(Never helps having 6 HDDs in the case in various positions though!)

Stop kicking it. If you really decide you don't want it, and you want to sell it, the kicked bit will reduce it's value. Check everything is tight (especially fans, PSU etc.) and all the clips are properly locked in place. Are you using all the bays in both racks? If not, try re-distributing the drives about a bit. I also found that turning the racks through 180-degrees helped. I did this to hide the cables, but it also helped the vibration. I also put a small piece of bicycle inner tube under each rack screw which effectively isolates the racks from the case.

If none of that works, attach a large-ish piece of blu-tak to the cages as that usually alters the harmonic frequency enough to stop it vibrating in the first place.

Not litterally, calm down.

Previous owner cut out one of the hdd bays so the psu could fit in (a la plus 2 version?) and as far as i can tell the cage is not moveable (rivveted in?)

Blutack seems to be a decent idea, i'll stock up when I go uni shopping. :)
