V2000 PSU mod??

So i've got round to buying a V2000 and doing a semi new build. After looking at several sites i went with the V2000 for my Wc build however I noticedothers have got their psu at the top of the lower section not the bottom.

Now i intend to do the same and i knew at the outset it would require some modding so just seeing what others havedone to make it possible.

options i see are:

1. cut a fan whole in divider to allow some air to the psu with the fan on the top

2. drill some new mounting wholes in the psu/fan plate at the back to match the psu when its at the top with the fan at the bottom

3. leave the psu at the top with the fan close against the divider and hope for the best.

its a corsair HX 620 psu if anyone wanted to know

before you drill anything just unscrew the panel holding the psu to the back of the case and turn it upside down and screw it back on! voila psu at top of case (just unside down)

dont really need to bother with that extra fan! no point the case so big and cool anyway you dont need it

That's what I did, required some dremelling to make way for the plug surround on my PSU but an easy 5min job to do.

Yeah i've done that but the psu fan is tight against the splitting piece of metal in the case.
