Been doing some research on where best to put the Swiftech radbox on the back of the LianLi V2000. The general consensus is "over where the rear exhaust fan would usually be".

But wouldn't you still need to have this fan active to give general air flow around the case?

Actually the Radbox thing sits away from the case so it doesn't pull very much from the case unless you close up its sides to make it into a duct. In my Antec case, I rely on the front 120mm to push air into the case and the PSU to remove it. Any positive pressure is relieved via the unused exhaust exit. The radbox-mounted rad and fan might help with that but it's incidental.

Mike, I have a front (side) fan - think this is 120mm and the same at the back. If I have these going togther with the 2 x 120mms which come with the radbox isn't the noise going to be cranking up?

Or would you accept this and have them all going for the maximum cooling?

(I also have that little optional fan that I'll have to stick on my P5B but I don't suppose that'll make much noise)

Depends on the fans. 120mm fans don't have to be noisy and if you get Nexus ones you'll never know you have them. Like anything, once you start trying to quieten your system, every time you do the noisiest bit, you're left with another next noisiest bit and so on. Alternatively use the 7 volt trick to run the fans at lower voltages.
