Ive been looking at v354 but i cant get a conclusive answer.

Would it be possible to mount this anywhere in the case?

Looking at the pictures there are 2 possible places.

If you removed the bottom HDD bay and removed the bay bracket where they screw into it looks like it would fit sideways?

or alternatively if you removed or swapped the rear fan for a slim 12mm scythe fan and mounted the radiator to the top of the case with the fan mounted underneath do you think it would fit here or would the fan interfere with things on the motherboard?

*edit* Roughly shopped in a board and it looks like the fan will intefere with memory slots, looks like only place it will go is at the front?

I've got to question why bother? It's not that good... (H50 that is).

Edit: No, I can see why. Didn't see that the PSU also covered part of the CPU area. Thought it was just limited to the PCI slots

If you really must, then I reckon at the intake would probably be an issue due to the PSU placement making it difficult to get the tubes there, so I'd go for the top.

Ive already got a CoolIT as a present to go with a new build im planning to buy next week/week after and i would really prefer an SFF-ish case rather than a big slab of aluminium and steel on my desk. Looks like intake is the only way its going to be done.

I dont think that there will be an issue with CoolIT as i can mount it so the tubes are behind the hdd bays, surely it would be ok there?

Not that it matters i will find a way of making it fit.

Thanks.

To be honest, it's pretty good for cooling. 2 intake fans, and 2 exhaust. The PSU shouldn't heat up too much since its fan faces outwards.

Custom PC rated it well on its cooling ability, beating some larger cases.
