V3X Bluetooth Wont Find Devices

Im buying my dads V3X off him, but i cant get the bluetooth to connect to send items. Im trying to connect it to a LG U880 to send a file. Bluetooth is on on both phones, and im going into the audio files on the V3X and selecting the 'Send via Bluetooth' option and it coming up searching for devices and not finding anything. I know the LG is fine, as my mams sony erricson finds it no bother, so i dont know whast going on with the V3X.

Anyone ogt any ideas? It seems like a common problem with the phone, as theirs loads of people complaining about it, but ive found no solutions so far.

I guess you've already looked for updated firmware for the phone but thought i'd mention it just incase.

Cracked it Its very fiddly what you have to do. You cant just send a file outwright, you have to copy the file, then send it for some obscure reason, then it works
