Looking at a car at the moment but the registered keeper on the V5 doesn't match the name of the guy that's selling it. Has anyone had this before at all? From what I've read it may be the case for when guys are trading cars out of their house, rather than a proper business.
Does anyone know if you're able to ring up the DVLA and query the status of a car as well? Who it's registered to etc and whether it's actually marked as being 'in the trade'?
