V8 ford Focus

V8 twin turbo in a focus seems a bit of a waste to me. Sounds totally awesome in the vid though (don't know if that's the tub version?), but i'd rather hear that but be watching something like an old cortina.
 
Looks stupid and as has been said, the sound just doesnt sound right coming from that lame Ford thing!

I hope to god thats RWD
 
I know there were some V8 RWD focus conversions around.... I could cope with it if it was RWD...

If it's still FWD I'd have to wonder what they were smoking.

Engine sounds fantastic though.
 
Nowt wrong with autos...

The Focus shell was designed with a semi-decent transmission tunnel...Funfunfun.

Most boxes behind anything American V8 are autos - nothing a manual valve conversion cant handle though.

There is a nice little Focus Estate sleeper being built over in the UK at the minute..... should shock a few people
 
Yea, that's cause autos can launch harder & faster and can handle more power easier than it would be to uprate a manual box (or at cost, to buy a suitable manual box).
