Serial Yo-Yoer. Lost upwards of 40kg now twice but been railroaded by life and back to square one - hoping I can use this as some accountability and motivation.

TDLR (ish)- Ironman athlete, 1 x full, 5 x 70.3. Crossfitter - compete. Rugby - Prop and played to semi decent level. Yo Yo weight up and down for last 10 years. Daughter arrived and is 1 in a week, things settling down so feel now is a good time to get back on the wagon!

Need to be sensible with training time due to work and family commitments. Squeezing in 30-60 mins early am or once baby is down. Looking to be consistent, get outside and help the mind too as have had some struggles with that.

Managed 2 gym sessions and no takeaways - better than nothing I suppose! Taken it very lightly, just doing what I can with the diet and making better choices rather than tracking. Main aims have been to get the protein intake up and more whole foods. Will weigh in tomorrow to see how I’ve done.

Back to work but actually think this gives me more routine than being off. Aiming for gym Mon / Wed / and poss Thursday as Friday is a busy day and the weekend I’m away.
