It's not the first time I've wondered what psychological effects of the OP's accident were, but on the basis that the threads are random at worst, how much harm is the OP doing in "day-deaming"?

When the likes of Gurdas were doing it years ago, I found the undertones irritating, but a cruel waste of time?

But in this case the car dealer (You and others in this thread) think the guy can't afford it/isn't serious about it anyway, so why does he bother taking the guy out for a test drive? Does that dealer deserve his time "wasted" if that does turn out to be what happens here? ;)

Then he needs to be told to be more open about the intentions of the thread, not told to stop posting.
People then have more choice about whether to bother posting a serious reply.

this is a serious point.

If people get told : this isn't a serious thread and i'm only day dreaming here. Then people can choose whether to participate in pointless discussion or not. Most of the threads on SC can be counted as pointless, but it doesn't stop them being enjoyable for many.
