VA panel?

Hi Gamers,

I'm in the market for a new monitor and the one I want is currently out of stock with no ETA (G27Q-EQ 144hz 1440p IPS) but there is a VA panel version 165hz 1440p and I was just wondering if VA is good for gaming?

I currently only play Escape From Tarkov and FFXIV so no competitive games.
