VAC banned again for no reason, COD Advanced Warfare.

So I go to have a quick blast on Advanced Warfare today, low and behold it doesn't work. Checked my settings and it says I have been VAC banned for cheating infraction.

Never cheated on my Steam account.

Sent a message to Steam support, got an instant reply saying VAC bans are never lifted.. Thanks Steam

Ban for no reason and no way of finding out why or getting help.

Last game I buy on Steam. Let's hope Xbox on Windows 10 is good

Thank god Battlefield games aren't attached to crappy Steam DRM. Never had a problem with Origin or even Uplay for that matter.

Anybody else had this VAC ban crap when you haven't done anything???

Yeah I had another account, and got banned for COD Ghosts, the only think I could think of at the time was a FOV changer. To be clear I never cheated on that account either.

With this account I've not used any third party stuff i.e afterburner etc while Steam is running, just in case it triggers a ban. This came out of nowhere lol.

If they don't put it right I'll just stick with Origin and Uplay. This sucks lol

Haha, I'm gutted it says VAC ban in my account. Literally have no idea why. So glad Battlefield etc don't use crappy Steam DRM, Steam has truly sucked for me. Second time this has happened. I created a new account after the last time. Bought another ton of games, and they did it again

This is on a new account mate, no relation to the old one.. Tis a mystery. Annoyed..

It's a shame a lot of you can't read

After Ghosts FOV, I started a new Steam Account, do not use anything while running Steam not even MSI Afterburner.

I know you think it's funny to write cheater cheated or whatever, but yeah I didn't and got banned for no reason on the new account. Is annoying when you've spent £100's of pounds on Steam to have an infraction against your account. Not be able to play a game you're paid for.

To the few helpful posts, I'll keep trying to get to speak to someone.

To the rest of you, meh.

No it's really weird mate, no info or reason for the ban. If you contact Steam you get an auto response saying VAC ban are permanent, you can't seem to speak to anyone real. Customer support is non existent. I will keep trying though.

To the guy saying he has a hard time believing that I didn't cheat, that speaks more about your own personality than mine. I've found that people that think like that are the ones that aren't trustworthy. I've never cheated on my Steam account, it's just a fact. Obviously I was going to get people on here flaming or cheaters that think everyone cheats, but I haven't This is bs lol.

I'll keep trying, will update if I ever get a response from Steam
