Good luck :)

Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5:30pm
Alternate Saturdays - 9:00am to 5:00pm
Sundays - 10.00am to 4.00pm during December

Looks like you get two Saturdays off in Decemember outside of Bank Holidays!

Hope you get to go to an interview! Good luck!

Thanks guys. Would be a significant relocation but I think I'd really enjoy the job.

Tried talking the wife into moving if I could get a job at OcUK.... She said no :/ Shame it's so far away or I'd be all over one of these jobs!

I'm extremely surprised to see you have a software developer role available! Although that does seem like a lot of hours! Straight out of uni I got a couple job offers, both of which were 37.5 hours a week. Although that obviously isn't the whole story, so I'm not one to judge without knowing the details.

I'm also extremely surprised to see VB6 there!

And PHP is the devils work.

Work more earn more. As a general rule I'd not expect much money working in such a trade within Stoke having done it for years so I thankfully got out, but 45 hours a week really isn't that much!! I do a good 55 a week and never moan but 40+ is time and a half so it's good money :) Put more in, get more out (including progression). Why shy from a few more hours a week if to some people this is your dream company/possible job?

OcUK never divulge what they pay, but don't expect to get rich quick, you might have a good laugh though by the looks of it :)

More fud in, more fud out springs to mind, that's why.
Although VB6 isn't exactly the 'Software' development languages of today.

I remember getting my first tech job, I had no experience but was hired after explaining how I'd built my own phase cooling system. Turns out the owner had collaborated with Cryotech to build their own, although mine was better :D
