A long time ago I started work on a PHP script that automated much of the news post generating process. rich as I recall spent rather a lot of his evening copy and pasting stats and so forth. My script took almost all the manual labour out of this.

I dropped the script for a couple of reasons. The main one being it was crap! I was also having some issues with getting it to sync properly to the weekly schedule and many other bugs.

All that aside, I used the official Daily User Summary text file to get my numbers, the file was updated every 3 hours. I have just been looking at this file and noticed that it does not contain any details on each user's submissions. I have searched high and low on the Stanford Stat page and I cannot find any feeds for this information. However, both EOC and Kakoa has such info. So, finally, we get to the question:

Is the WU statistics for each user publicly available [and I am just not seeing it] or do the likes of EOC have "special" access?

The reason I ask is I am thinking of cooking up a very small scale, Team10 only stats page. It is mostly a personal project/experimentation by me to keep me occupied, but if it is ever useful in the future - then cool! :) No ideas on features, time scales or anything like that, so don't ask :p

I think like Mr.B seti stats page, the new information adds to the existing data base.
So all the graphs, predictions, ppd etc are locally caculated from the basic text file.

Mr.B is the one to ask.

Which reminds me - I've a news post to write :D

OK I was being a noob last night. I didn't realise the daily summary had the WU count. The headings are poorly labeled in the text file. At a glance it looks like points - especially when looking at the PS3 or Anonymous "pseudo" teams. A scroll down the list might have made me realise that column was WU counts.

My bad :o
