Hi i have a Vaillant ecotec plus boiler and since last night the heating and hot water doesnt work.

i tried turning the boiler on and off and joy luck.

on the LED display it shows F75 which i believe is some kind of error.

Any fix for this?

Top it up? I read that article and just tried resetting it. How do I top it up?

There's usually two little stopcocks across a pipe underneath (you might need to remove a plastic vanity grille). Open one, then the other, and water flows into the system. Check the pressure with the dial/display so as not to go to far. When done, close both stopcocks.

You will have a little guage with PSI on it. It should be around the 1psi range.
Underneath the the boiler will be a pipe with either a valve with a tap or a screw driver socket. You should turn it until you hear water rushing in and the psi rising.

I suggest reading your manual to locate it

YESS it worked. Brilliant thanks man. appreciate it a lot!

Keep a close eye on the pressure as well to see if there are any other issues causing the pressure drop. Might be a defective expansion vessel, faulty pressure valve or worse a leak somewhere on the system.

Note that you may also now have a load of air in the radiators that needs bleeding out - you will have to redo the topping up as described earlier whilst doing this.

Might be worth getting a Gas Safe Registered Plumber in to check/service the boiler as soon as you can.

Yep, pressure can drop a little, but usually slowly over a long time, but if it suddenly drops, especially if it happens again after topping up, then there is something wrong, maybe a leak or faulty pressure release valve, etc as mentioned above. Check joints, radiators and radiator valves for evidence of water. If you've got pipes out of sight or buried in concrete (which they shouldn't be, but I've seen it bodged before), they can slowly leak in there for years and be very hard to spot except for the fact your closed boiler system keeps losing pressure.

Ok cool i'll ring the maintenance company and tell them to check it out.

Yeah will be a good idea, might be nothing serious as Steampunk says and just that it had dropped a little over a very long time without any topping up. Ditto that sudden drops are the usual sign of a bigger issue.
