VAIO Z Series help

Hi all

Just taken delivery of my new Z series VAIO

So far im happy with it but it has come pre installed with windows 7 pro (fine) but also a shed load of sony vaio bloatware.

There is no win 7 dvd and there is a recovery partition on the hard disk.

Does anyone know if i can get a windows 7 pro ISO..i presume OEM and reinstall windows..also where can i get this iso from?

why go to all this trouble?

just remove all the sony bloatware except the drivers for trackpack/Fn keys and sony control panell.

I would just remove the bloatware, I have a Sony Z series laptop, amazing laptop, I had to install windows 7 from the free upgrade, it was a tiring job as some of the drivers had to be installed in a certain order or some of the features wouldn't work !!Took ages to work out

...and use an uninstaller app!

You have a pretty big VaioZ community at notebookreview forums, if you need help with your Z11.

ill sign up and take a look, i want to basically just reinstall cleanly and configure everything the way i want it!

well i have managed to get the drivers i need and an ISO of windows 7 so i guess there isnt anything stopping me wiping the drive including the recovery parition and reinstall?
