As she's french, I'm english, she loves cheese and I'm semi-allergic to it.. so it's all about our differences
1. Starter - French Onion soup
I've always loved this soup!
Made form scratch - including the beef stock (the topside will make this).
For her I have additional gruyere cheese topping to be grated on..
French bread to mop up!
2. Main
For her: Camembert baked (with a teaspoon of white wine soaked in), with green beans, carrot sticks and new potatoes. With French bread to dip.
For Him: Rare-medium Topside roast beef, with green beans, carrots, new potatoes. (Ros-beuf!)
3. Dessert - Chocolate merange.
From scratch with the top and bottom layers in a heart shape and the thick middle layer hollowed out for additional chocolate cream
Hazelnut roasted and sprinkled on top.
