Valentines Day Meal...

That time of year that I normally do jack and get moaned at, but she's due a date night so I had a plan in cooking for her. Nothing new there, massively, so I'd like to make it special, visually stunning as well, but not spend the entire time in the kitchen!

She'll eat ANYTHING.

You're not the first to mention steak. I was thinking a nice fillet. She loves a good steak, and I rule at cooking them, plus they're quick. I think we might be on to a winner with steak.

I want to do her a scallop dish as well, she loves them. *googles recipes*

That looks blinding! Easy, nice looker and I've just got some edible flowers that will jazz the hell out of it. I can do the jelly before hand, just leaves the reducing of the apple juice, making of the puree and searing of scallops. BOSH!

Seems like the cooking men on valentines day are attempting to make it steak and BJ day. Which is a great aim.

Going to make her some chocolates as well. Not being cheap, but anything made (unless it's realllllly bad) is always massively appreciated. She loves chocolates and nuts, so some chocolate truffles, with different fillings dipped in an outer layer of chocolate is like 30mins work for a massive bonus point.
