I might be about to come into a little cash, and have decided that I'm going to make the jump tom PCI-E and get a new rig now and then make the jump to Vista next year.
What I use it for
Browsing Web, My Work, Light Games - World of Warcraft etc mainly strategy games.
What I want
New CPU: Core Duo - I may/may not Overclock
New Motherboard: Good quality board must have onboard GB Ethernet, 5.1 Audio. Can be M-ATX or standard ATX don't mind. Will use onboard sound to start and when funds allow I'll be buying a creative XFi sound card with new speakers.
New Graphics Card: PCI-E Doesn't need to be top range ATi or nVidia don't mind. I don't think I need the power of SLi/Crossfire but having the option could be handy.
RAM: 2GB DDR2 - Must be good quality.
I'm got a new Enermax Liberty 400W PSU (still in box) to use with this new PC and I'll reuse my existing Hard Disks.
Budget
£600 could stretch to £650 depending on spec!
Edit: Sorry should have mentioned no need for case or optical drives
