Still really happy with my iPad Pro (A1701, 256gb), apart from 2 things....

Battery life in Hearthstone (which I play a lot) is atrocious, I get 1 maybe 2 games from a full battery (under 1hr). Diagnostic is reporting battery health of 79%, so I expect there's an element of bad battery and poor game optimisation.
Screen has seen better days, it has several imperfections on the top layer, one being about 1cmx0.5cm. Touch can be a little temperamental on occasion.

So the cheapest screen (not lcd) and battery repair I have found would be £140, this doesn't seem too bad compared to other places but is still a bunch of cash for an aging device. Alternative would be a new tablet but I'm not in a position to buy a new "pro" level device, even an iPad 10 is about £500. The main kicker is I have some apps & games that only work on ios, so I'd lose out on Civ6, FTL etc if I went for a new android device. 256gb storage is needed as I travel a lot and this device is what I use for entertainment etc.

So, it feels like it's £140+ for repairs
Whinge about it daily till black friday and hope to score a good deal on a £500ish device for much less
Buy a £200 ish device such as the mipad 6 or similar android tablet.
