I am looking at downsizing my car for something more economical to run.
The first stage is advertising my current car.

Its a 1999 T reg Peugeot 406 Coupe 3l V6 with 67K on the clock.
Been well looked after and spent quite a bit in minor repairs.
It has a new powerflow stainless steel exhaust (not that that will prob make any difference)
Anyone got ideas about a realistic price to advertise it at?

Obviously I want as much as possible but if anyone has a glasses guide it would be useful to know.

What do people recommend Autotrader first or owners club etc.

I will start the ball rolling.

Is £4500 an unrealistic price to expect. (based on a quick autotrader search)

As I found to my cost, the problem with using Autotrader as a price guide is that you see a cluster of cars at a price that seems good to advertise at. Then slowly you realise they are still on autotrader week after week because no one is buying them at that price and in fact your car is worth a lot less.

Good luck in selling it.
