Im thinking of selling my Elixir cas3 2x1gb set and getting some Geil Value instead. They are CL3 aswell.
I realise they are rated the same, and probably perform similarily. However, I would prefer having branded ram rather than generic stuff.
Also the current ram gives me random BSOD when playing CM, which is heavy on the cpu and ram.
Else all is good, no crashing.
The BSOD happens regardless if I have fsb at 220 or 200 running CL2.5.
So what do you guys think? Keep it or get geil? I will be using it in my new rig which has an OPTY 165
