Try it and see.

If true, BAD move by Valve in my opinion.

Too much cosying up with publishers for my liking.

Valve used to be the solution to the problem, dare I say they are now becoming part of the problem?

They will the bigger they get..

Most likely due to the amount of poorly used (on purpose obviously) tags used on their two latest titles that are already in Steam's top sellers chart. Folks have been dreaming up all sorts of tags and I guess Valve are starting to take notice.

It's a perfectly normal tag informing customers that the title has addition DRM. Exactly what the tagging system should be used for.

There is no justification I can think of for Valve doing this, they must be trying to swoon Ubisoft. If I'm honest Valve has been peeving me off a lot lately.

I don't see the issue, Steam says whether a game has third party DRM, why do you need a tag for it as well?.

Because the tags are far more noticeable than the tiny bit of text near the bottom of the page that says "uses uPlay DRM". Steam also says which genre the game is but its quite happy with using genres as tags, so why should it steam care if some other arguably more important information is repeated as well

Enhanced Steam does what Steam SHOULD do:

I don't see the point of this tags thing, is it really that hard for Valve to list what genre the game is?
It seems to me they are just trying to make people think they have some kind of input. Web 2.0.

As for no Uplay tags, it is anti competative but whatever, Steam is better. Even if it's more expensive I would buy the game on Steam.

Valve is a business.... I guess some people just forget about that.

Well done captain obvious.

I thought it was a charity.

Valve should have stuck to their guns years ago and done everyone a favour and mandated "No third party DRM on Steam titles". I guess they just did not have the balls.

I think they just prefer the money
