Hi all,

Been about 6 years since I played this and I've got a hankering to go back. Thing is I seem to remember that a) in its original form it was as buggy as hell. b) there was quite an active modding community for this game.

I've had a quick google and found loads of patches (unofficial and official) and mod packs, but I'm unsure which to install.

Hopefully one of you will have played it recently and could give me some advice on what I should download to give me the definitive bloodlines experience?

Thanks loads

All I ever used was one of the community patches and the odd hi-res skin, like a motorhead waistcoat for smiling jack or a Dead Kennedys t-shirt for my vampire, etc

There are two community patch projects if I remember right, but I can't remember the differences or which I used.

That's the unofficial patch you want. As the other one is written by a drama queen who hates anyone that disagrees with him :3

For the first time through, grab the latest unofficial patch, and play through the game without any of the 'plus' options on, since that will give you the game as similar to the release version as they could make it while still fixing a ton of bugs.
The plus version already included is much more indepth, it includes characters and conversations and so on which were included in the in-game files, but where never used for whatever reason. They've been added into the game with the plus patch. They both use the same installer, its an option you get when you run the installer.

The patch does need the latest version of Vampire installed, which you will already have if you're running the Steam version.
