The dutch have screwed Robben and Van Bommel by playing them while injured, while they know they are injured, while giving the players very little choice but to play or never play for Holland again, and both ended up injured long term.
THe Dutch FA really are amongst the biggest morons on the international football scene.
Even more ridiculous was Van Bommel got injured in one game, its his, I forget, father in law, or uncle, or some relation in charge and he played him anyway, in a rather pointless game. Bayern hate the Dutch FA/team/people involved at the moment as its cost them two important players.
They really do have a history of utterly ignoring the players health/safety and playing people when they should be allowed to rest/get fit, they also utterly misdiagnosed RVP's injury as a minor thing, as they did with Bommel, though you wonder if they say its all fine so they aren't "to blame" when the injury is finally seen for as bad as it is. They say, "he was fine when we saw him, he did it, or your club did it, not us".

I did think that a while back actually - the 'no club' threads obviously made sense in the main SA forum as it would really clog it up, but it's hardly the same here
Can kinda understand it remaining though mainly because a 'Club thread' is going to be a troll-magnet, at least making sure the threads are on specific issues means that they are kept a little bit under control, lol

If he does play and picks up yet another injury then surely we must get some kind of compensation for it.

There's only compensation available if a player's injured during a competitive international which also means qualifiers. Friendlies don't count which is why they're that little bit more irritating.
I think the rules were up for discussion the last time he got injured for The Netherlands but seemingly nothing came of it.
Tbh RVP needs to go...he hasnt given us a full season for god knows how long...he always gets some stupid injury which means hes out for us for most of the season.
Maybe its time Wenger just sold him and get as much as we can for him and buy someone who is not so injury prone all the time.
