Use dead x the put that over it and in the door panel use black bin bags full of fiberglass that eliminates a lot of noise

Ideally you want a bitumen based product which will load the walls, so I wouldn't bother with the automotive underfelt. Buy two packs of the butyl stuff posted above and carpet it with acoustic cloth. This stops the condensation you get in the back. I have a Renault Trafic (same van practically) and thats what I did. Also, if you have a Costco/wickes/diy place close by, get some garage flooring. It interlocks and isn't rubber, but makes a massive difference in the heat retained and sound cut down.

Yer I have diesel clio which has no sound deading once I fitted it to the floor pan and all the doors, I also got some black bin bags filled them with fiberglass and stuffed them between the carpanels and door cards. It has made a big diffrence.

Pro's are it's a lot quiter and sound quality form my stereo is a lot better

Con's It gets very warm in there if left in the sun lol
