Firstly I get about 12,000 points with my X2 - is this about right?

Secondly I seem to have some interference, can this be fixed?
 
That sounds about right scorewise (depending on what speed your q6600 is running at), if you mean "sparklies" when it's running the benchmark you may have overclocked your graphics card too far, if thats the case try reducing the memory clock speed a bit at a time until it goes away.
