Considering buying one of these, have no case lights so dont see it necessary to get one of the ones with that function.

BUT

It only on its lowest setting puts the voltage to 7v, 5 is possible and is what I am currently running my zalman gpu cooler and front case fan.

Am I gonna hear any noise difference between the 5 and 7v or does anyone else have any suggestions to other controllers.

PC can be as loud as it likes during the day so I will put the fans up then, and then I leave it on overnight downloading and sleep in the same room so I would like to turn the fans down to low as safely possible

Just been looking at the Akasa AK FC-03 Fan Controller Pro.

This any good anyone as I also woudlnt mind seeing the temps of certain things and this one does that, altho it doesnt say its voltage range?

Between 5 and 7v I think there would be no difference.

They are both good controllers, but I would personally go for the Akasa one.

Thats about all I can add as fan controllers are not my main thing!

Hi, i have the Nexus 301 fan and light controller. I know you said you are'nt bothered about lights but this also has control over 3 fans and can vary the speed between fully off to full. It does come with 2x cold cathodes as well but you don't have to fit them if you don't want to.

I have that controller aswell! Its ok, the cathodes are good too

I have the Vantec Nexus and its great, it turns fans up and down and looks good.

The Zalman ZM-MFC1 is better than all of those listed above, i have one here its perfect.

Google it, unfortunately they don’t sell them here.
