I just installed a Vantec Tornade and thats what it sounds like in my computer.

Can anyone recommend something that I can turn it down a bit? Or suggest in bios where I can control this?

Am I supposed to plug in the molex and three pin?

thanks

LOL are you telling me that you bought a Tornado thinking it would be quiet. No matter what you do really it will be a loud fan but thats what you have to sacrifice for brilliant airflow :)

Ok they are too noisey for me. Are there anymore suitable fans that are quiet? I need it for the back of my coolmaster case.

The tornado did take my tempts down from 40 to 30 -33 lol So they certainly do the job.

I got the impression people only use these kind of fans for benching, wouldn't like it running 24/7!

Ive never had a noisey fan before. I didnt realise it would be that noisey though.

Super powerful though. Dropped my temperatures right down even on stress tests. So for cooling it is great. It is amazing the power of the air coming out the back of the computer. It actually cooled my room down lol

I think the clue is in the name........ And yes they are loud!

On a more positive note however It does drown the vacuum cleaner out :p

I recently swapped my two main case fans for "Vantec Stealth" and they appear to do the job well enough and are pretty quiet.
