I have the extreme and I find mine to be brilliant. 37 degrees under OCCT load with my opty@2700.

What size case do you have? Generally everything fits into an ATX case. After that, you're guessing. Also - you need to look very hard at your motherboard as some have stacks of capacitors near the socket. Some have an extra heatsink between the CPU and the rear panel connectors. These can foul some big heatsinks (Thermaltake Big Typhoon for example).

Give it a go. It'll probably fit fine.

i see, well i have returned the vapochill, can anyone sugjest me a smaller heat sync ? pref, no heavy overclocking, maybe a 630 , at 3.6 - 3.8 . and quiet , and one that is not so offending to the eye ? hehe . thanks a lot .
