VapoChill Micro Extreme Performance

massively. does not even compare. although because you are posing this question i would suggest you should maybe read up a little before considering phase cooling. it has a few tricky elements to install and is not worth it unless you want to clock the nuts off something. theres a time and a place for phase, i would suggest you post your specs and intentions and some of the phase boys may offer some advice.

"VapoChill Micro Extreme Performance" is not a phase change unit, but just a normal heatpipe cooler.

Vapochill XE or LS are phase change and cost ~£350 upwards

VapoChill Micro Extreme Performance (Socket 754/939/940) (06-L-0015) (HS-005-VP)
The VapoChill Micro™ CPU coolers are characterized by hermetically sealed gas/liquid chambers exploiting the most effective cooling principle available: phase change cooling. This creates one of the most effective CPU cooling solutions in the mainstream market. What does this mean then??? From the OCuk web site.

It means it has heatpipes,

If you want the best in air cooling, then your Looking at the Scythe Ninja, Or the Tuniq Tower,

The Tower is better , but hard to get hold of in the Uk.

All the above coolers use heatpipes and are better than the Vapochill Micro :)
