Varjo Aero and 4090 stutters

So I was lucky enough to get a 4090 yesterday. It arrived today but Ive found there is stuttering with the Aero , the FPS is locked at 90 but its a really poor experience. Is anybody having a similar problem. I know having an Aero and 4090 is quite niche.

Same issue here. Varjo is aware and looking into the issue but might also be an Nvidia issue.

Same issue here; I have raised a support ticket with both nVidia and Varjo;

The way things stand now, the issue seems to be more Nvidia and/or Display Port. Given how also Pimax users have reported issues.

As for over-priced GPU, sure it's expensive but it's also the biggest performance increase we've seen between 2 generations in many years.

putting aside the stuttering, looking at the FPS of ACC, F122, and Automobilsta 2. The FPS on Aero is locked at 90, at native resolution, with a lot of the settings on High. So pricey yes, but the results are pretty good in VR.

Just out of interest how much extra fps do you get from a 4090 over a 3090?

Not that I'm getting one, I refuse the pay the silly prices, but at some point I'll have to upgrade (maybe a 5090 or 6090).

I haven’t done too much testing but the articles with benchmarks are pretty spot on. Much bigger increase from going from 2080ti to 3090 (non RT games). the impact is huge. i’ll try and post a few games tomo if I can.

Pimax 8KX user and 4090 owner here, there's only 1 issue afaik and it is very specific/niche...in msfs, with pimax 8kx set to "Large" fov, there is graphical tearing/artifacts.
