this has been posted in a few threads on here already - the current prototype has fixed lenses only, so the "sweet spot" doesn't move with your view so it is a bit limiting... they are planning to go with eye tracking to move the high res display around but then again not sure how games are supposed to support this, not only will the game have to support foveated rendering but it sounds like very specifically it will have to support this device
if anything it sounds more like the type of thing the company are hoping they will get bought up by one of the bigger players to fully exploit
